Laurent Rineau ea002bcf93 Fix a trivial memory leak 
The was a leak in the test, so not a real one. But that was detected
by ASAN, and potentially hiding real ones.

Some error messages were not printed. Some messages were printed too much
(since as soon as 'valid' was wrong, everything below was printed, even
if the test was not actually failing).
