Sylvain Pion 83a2552074 - We now save and restore correctly the binary/ascii mode when we change it 
internally.
- in_binary_mode() -> get_binary_mode()
- in_ascii_mode() -> get_ascii_mode()
- set_binary_mode() now takes a boolean parameter (default to true), and
  returns the current mode.  Idem for set_ascii_mode().
