hybrid arithmetic; unfortunately, the only way to make it work

Bernd Gärtner 6eb5df45a6 - added new test that batch-processes a number of files 
- added a couple of files for the new test
- changed some verbosity settings
- is_valid now also checks that the QP_solver is valid
