they are not really used in remove_used_polylines
and a polyline might be written as to skip while
only a portion is (if the dangling part is the
one edge per polyline)

The c++03 implementation of constructors of AABB-tree expect
arguments to be passed by reference and a rvalue can't be taken by const-ref
